Reflecting on the intricate blend of art and life as he promotes his upcoming film, Highest 2 Lowest, directed by the legendary Spike Lee, the rapper shares his thoughts.

In February, Rocky experienced a significant event from his actual life, as the court decided in his favor and declared him innocent of gun assault charges. The incident stemmed from an argument that led to him shooting at his friend in Hollywood, which occurred in 2021. If found guilty, the father of two would have faced a prolonged prison sentence.

In a recent chat with Variety, Rocky shared memories of the popular incident where he jumped over courtroom barriers to embrace Rihanna following the positive verdict. Reflecting on his feelings at that time, Rocky expressed intense joy and wished to leave the premises with his family, who were present there, immediately.

“Being happy and wanting to get the f*ck out of that building,” Rocky said.

Rocky and Rihanna initially teamed up musically in 2012. Since making their relationship public in 2020, they have formed a family. They currently have two children, RZA and Riot, with another one expected, as RiRi announced prior to the Met Gala in 2025.
