Armie Hammer’s Mom Encouraged Him to Get a Vasectomy for His 38th Birthday — Here’s Why

As a dedicated follower and admirer of Armie Hammer, I must say that his unique birthday gift from his mother, Dru, truly showcases their special bond. It takes a certain level of understanding, love, and humor to give someone a vasectomy as a birthday present!

Armie Hammer received a special gift — a vasectomy — from his mother, Dru, on his 38th birthday. On the Monday, November 11, episode of his The Armie HammerTime Podcast, the actor, who was joined by his mom, detailed how the present came about.

dru said, “I spoke with Armie and asked, ‘Armie, what would you prefer as a gift for your birthday this year?’ To which he replied, ‘I’m not sure, perhaps money or something.’ And I jokingly responded, ‘I think I’ll get you a vasectomy instead.’

Hammer then walked his audience through the procedure he underwent.

He remembered saying at the medical clinic, “I’m here for a vasectomy appointment,” and then filling out forms before meeting with a doctor. The actor from Nocturnal Animals mentioned that the doctor attempted to dissuade him from the procedure, but he was resolute in his choice since he already had “two lovely children.

For the less familiar, Hammer has a 9-year-old daughter named Harper and a 7-year-old son called Ford, who were born to his former spouse, Elizabeth Chambers.

“I don’t want more kids. I’m good to go,” Hammer apparently told the doctor.

After the consultation, when Hammer was requested to select his desired method of payment – either insurance or a credit card – he surprised the receptionist by stating that his mother would be settling the invoice instead.

Initially, she gazed towards the ground, then lifted her gaze and inquired, “What?” To which I responded, “Indeed, my mother gifted it to me on my birthday.” Hammer added.

Initially, Hammer made his public reappearance with the launch of his podcast in October, following a period of nearly four years away from Hollywood due to multiple accusations of sexual misconduct. In an Instagram video post at that time, he expressed his readiness to return and revealed that for his first post-hiatus venture, he intended to share his story about rebuilding his life.

The actor famously known for The Social Network will reappear on the big screen in Travis Mills’ western film Frontier Crucible, but specifics about his character are yet to be disclosed.
