Armie Hammer Admits to Cutting the Heart Out of an Animal and Eating It Amid Cannibalism Controversy; Calls It ‘Male Rite of Passage’

In a recent disclosure, Armie Hammer shared an experience from a hunting expedition where he consumed a piece of an animal’s heart. This custom, he explained, is deeply rooted in the traditions of hunters.

On the captivating Louis Theroux Podcast, I found myself delving into a riveting conversation where I was asked point-blank if I had ever taken the extraordinary step of removing a living creature’s heart and consuming it in its raw, pulsating state. The sheer intrigue that question sparked within me is beyond words!

He mentioned that traditionally, one doesn’t consume an entire heart. Instead, it’s customary to take a bite from the heart. This is usually done in the presence of friends who encourage and motivate you.

In previous times, there have been accusations about Hammer, a notable actor from Call Me by Your Name, involving himself in cannibalistic desires. When discussing his experiences, however, he swiftly made it clear that any references to hunting rituals should not be associated with these allegations.

The actor described it as a nearly excessive ritualistic experience associated with manhood, shared by those who embarked on their first hunting trip. Everyone I know who undertook this first-time hunting adventure seemed to have a comparable rite of passage.

He added that the ritual is “not for the purpose of any cannibalism or any sexual gratification.”

Starting from 2021, the actor from Death on the Nile has been entangled in controversies due to the emergence of explicit messages reportedly sent by him to several women, containing graphic descriptions of violent sexual fantasies and cannibalism references. Additionally, a woman accused him of sexual assault, which became a central topic in his Discovery+ docuseries, House of Hammer.

In 2023, Armie Hammer refused all accusations made against him, and due to a lack of substantial evidence, the Los Angeles County district attorney chose not to bring charges. Despite this, the cannibalism scandal led to his expulsion from Hollywood. However, he’s making a comeback with his upcoming project, Frontier Crucible, directed by Travis Mills.
