Ariana Grande Says Acting Feels Like Home Right Now, Shuts Down Speculation About 2025 Tour: ‘Don’t See It Coming Anytime Soon’

As a die-hard Ariana Grande fan who’s been following her journey since the Nickelodeon days, I can’t help but feel a mix of anticipation and nostalgia about her latest announcement. Ariana has always been a powerhouse in music, but her decision to delve deeper into acting feels like a natural progression given her impressive stage presence.

Ariana Grande has no intentions of abandoning her music career permanently, but instead, she’s choosing to take a break and focus on her acting aspirations as well as other artistic endeavors. In an interview with Variety published on December 18th, the Wicked actress made it clear that although she will primarily concentrate on acting for now, music will continue to play a significant role in her life, a fact she believes her fans are aware of.

Regarding tours for her new album, Eternal Sunshine, the versatile artist expressed, “I’m incredibly thankful for my acting career, and I believe my fans understand that music and performing are essential to me. However, a tour isn’t on the horizon just yet.

For the upcoming years, let’s hope we delve into various artistic expressions. At present, acting seems incredibly comfortable and familiar to me.

Lately, there have been whispers about Ariana Grande touring in 2025, following an apparent listing of events on Ticketmaster with her name attached.

Republic Records shared on X (previously Twitter) that there won’t be any tour scheduled for the upcoming year; however, Ariana is extremely grateful for her fans and their unwavering affection, encouragement, and enthusiasm.

Back in July, Grande mentioned she was considering organizing a small tour between the launch of Wicked part one (on November 22) and part two (scheduled for November 2025), during an interview on the Shut Up Evan podcast. “I believe it would be quite charming,” the pop star noted at that time.

Ariana Grande hasn’t embarked on a tour for the past five years. Her latest series of performances were held in 2019, as part of her Sweetener album promotion.

Currently, Ariana Grande has been nominated for a Supporting Actress Golden Globe Award for her portrayal of Glinda the Good Witch in Wicked Part One. Interestingly, her co-star Cynthia Erivo also received a nomination, but hers was in the Best Actress category.
