Ariana Grande Begs Disney to Keep TWILIGHT ZONE Tower of Terror in Orlando

As a long-time fan who has grown up with the magic of Disney and the enchanting tunes of Ariana Grande, I wholeheartedly support her heartfelt plea to preserve the original Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

As a die-hard fan, I’m speaking up like Glinda the Good Witch, channeling her magic to make a heartfelt appeal. Recently, on the Las Culturistas podcast with Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers, I, Ariana Grande, urged Disney not to reimagine their beloved icon, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in Orlando. You see, this attraction is an absolute masterpiece that should be preserved as it is. Back in 2017, Disney transformed the Tower of Terror in Disney’s California Adventure into Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! However, I believe that the original theme deserves to stand the test of time. Here’s my open letter to Disney:

Perhaps this message comes prematurely, but I would be remiss if I did not reach out with a potential matter of grave concern. In the wake of the most recent alterations that have befallen your historic park in California — yes, I’m referring to the calamitous loss/makeover of the Tower of Terror ride here — I humbly implore you to not follow suit. Please allow the iconic and tremendous Tower of Terror to stand tall, permanently in the name of historical preservation, spooky honor, and good, old-fashioned fun. I hope that you’ll consider this humble plea from a passionate fan.

Originally, the Tower of Terror ride based on The Twilight Zone opened in 1994 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios within the Walt Disney World Resort. It quickly became popular among park visitors, and a similar attraction was created in Disney’s California Adventure a decade later. However, as Avengers Campus started being developed at DCA, Disney changed the ride to Guardians of the Galaxy. This has raised some questions about its future longevity from the singer’s perspective.

Although we echo Ariana Grande’s fondness for the original version, it appears that for now, it remains safe in Orlando. Disney has a distinct Guardians attraction there instead, and due to existing agreements with Universal Studios/Marvel Islands of Adventure, they currently cannot establish an Avengers Campus of their own. However, we speculate that the Twilight Zone brand may eventually fade away since it isn’t owned by Disney. Yet, the eerie old hotel seems likely to persist. Curiously, Rivers of America is set to depart from the Magic Kingdom soon, suggesting that nothing in the Disney parks is entirely immune to change.
