Ari Aster’s Star-Filled Upcoming Western, ‘Eddington,’ Reveals First Plot Details and Potential Release Date

As a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that A24 is set to unveil “Eddington,” the latest chilling masterpiece from director Ari Aster, at the European Film Market in Berlin this month. This captivating tale boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal, Emma Stone, Austin Butler, Deirdre O’Connell, Micheal Ward, and Clifton Collins Jr., all of whom are currently bringing this production to life during post-production. I can’t wait to witness the magic on the big screen!

The narrative unfolds around a pair who find themselves trapped in a quaint New Mexico village amidst the COVID-19 crisis. Initially, the residents appear friendly, but as darkness descends, events take an ominous turn. Phoenix assumes the role of the town’s sheriff, a man brimming with lofty aspirations.

It’s being discussed that the film titled Eddington could make its debut at Cannes, marking a first for Aster. The distributor, A24, plans to release it during the summer season instead.
