Oh, my goodness! As a devoted fan of both Vanessa Kirby’s captivating performances and the mesmerizing world of lacrosse (thanks to my distant relative who once played for the Boston Cannons), I am absolutely thrilled by this delightful news! The thought of Princess Margaret’s enchanting actress gracing the lacrosse field with her presence, even if it’s only as a spectator, sends shivers down my spine.
Actress Vanessa Kirby, known for her role as Princess Margaret on the popular Netflix series “The Crown,” has confirmed her engagement to lacrosse star Paul Rabil. The pair, who have been dating for two years, ignited speculation about their relationship back in October 2022 when they were photographed holding hands during a walk in New York City.
In November 2023, they publicly confirmed their relationship on Instagram when Rabil, who goes by “The Lax Lord” and is famously referred to as the “LeBron of Lacrosse,” shared a series of pictures featuring the actress. In his caption, he expressed heartfelt sentiments: “Ever since our first encounter in Des Moines, life has been more meaningful, more fulfilling, and more beautiful with you.
Previously, Rabil had a relationship with actress Eiza González and was wed to lacrosse player Kelly Berger from 2014 until 2017. In 2021, he decided to step away from the Boston Cannons team and took on the role of president and co-founder for the Premier Lacrosse League. Currently, he also heads up Rabil Companies, an organization dedicated to popularizing lacrosse.
Prior to her relationship with the lacrosse player, Kirby had been associated with actor Callum Turner. They worked together in the movie “Queen and Country” back in 2014. Since then, Turner has found a new partner as well – pop sensation Dua Lipa.
Beyond her role as the troubled sister of Queen Elizabeth II on Netflix, Kirby has taken on leading roles. In 2023, she starred in the war drama Napoleon alongside Joaquin Phoenix. She also portrayed a significant character in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw and is slated to feature in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, due for release in 2025.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be stepping into the role of Sue Storm in the highly anticipated The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Joining me on this incredible journey is none other than Pedro Pascal, who will bring Mr. Fantastic to life, and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm.
