The new series titled “Side Quest” is scheduled to debut on Apple TV+ on March 26. This fresh take hails from the universe of “Mythic Quest“, the humorous show centered around a video game studio developing an MMORPG. The spin-off, previously known as “Mere Mortals“, will drop all four episodes simultaneously on the same day as the finale of season four for “Mythic Quest“.
Each episode in this series will feature a new cast, as it adopts an anthology structure. The creative minds behind “Mythic Quest”, namely Ashly Burch, John Howell Harris, and Katie McElhenney, are the ones responsible for its creation and serve as executive producers.
If you’re acquainted with the initial series, Burch takes on the role of Rachel. The team who made the original show – Charlie Day, Megan Ganz, and Rob McElhenney – also serve as executive producers for this sequel. Lionsgate, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Ubisoft are the production companies involved in this spin-off.
