2025 marks the year when the anime adaptation of “Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra: World Conquest Starts with the Civilization of Ruin” becomes a reality for us fans! The production team has shared an exciting new batch of details, from the main cast members to tantalizing character visuals. I can hardly wait!
Toshiki Kumagai has been cast to voice Takuto Ira, our leading character. He’s accompanied by Tomori Kusunoki, who portrays Atou, the Sludge Witch. The initial artwork for both characters has been unveiled as well. Production is being managed by Happinet, and anticipation is growing.
The narrative centers around Takuto Ira, a young man who succumbs to an illness and finds himself in a world mirroring his beloved game, “Eternal Nations”. However, it’s not just any world—he is now the leader of the dark civilization Mynoghra. Accompanied by Atou, he embarks on a journey to restore his crumbling empire, confronting overwhelming challenges in a ruthless strategic conflict for existence.
Fehu Kazuno debuted the series online back in 2017. Publishing duties for the light novels are handled by Micro Magazine, with artwork by Jun. In 2020, the series was transformed into a manga format, skillfully illustrated by Yasaiko Midorihana. The English adaptations of these novels can be found through Cross Infinite World, while Yen Press manages the manga version.
Last June saw the release of the seventh volume of the light novel series, while the manga’s sixth volume became available in December. With the upcoming anime, it seems that “Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra” is set to become a major player in the realm of isekai fantasy.
