Anne Rice’s MAYFAIR WITCHES Renewed for Season 3

In simple terms, Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe is expanding further on AMC. They have recently given us a hint about when we can anticipate more from the popular series “Interview with the Vampire” (2026!). Excitingly, another world within the series is also set to grow as AMC has renewed “Mayfair Witches” for its third season.

When the show resumes, Thomas Schnauz will step in as a new joint showrunner alongside series creator Esta Spalding. For season three of Mayfair Witches, the storyline will transition from New Orleans to Salem, Massachusetts. Notably, Salem is synonymous with magic and witchcraft, given its past association with the infamous Salem Witch Trials.

In the third season of “Mayfair Witches,” I’m excited to introduce Tom Schnauz as a new member of our team. This contemporary take on the Salem tale is set to offer an intriguing blend of magic and modernity, making it our most tantalizing season yet.

Dan McDermott, President of Entertainment and AMC Studios for AMC Networks, announced the renewal of “Mayfair Witches” for a third season. He stated, “The fascinating and bewitching tales of the Mayfair family remain captivating, and setting this story against the historical backdrop of Salem, a city steeped in witchcraft, promises an engaging new chapter for the series as well as our larger Anne Rice Immortal Universe. Tom Schnauz has a rich history with AMC, and we’re thrilled to have him collaborate with Esta Spalding and our talented “Mayfair” cast for a season that will delve deeper into the world of witchcraft, uncovering more Mayfair family secrets while further expanding this compelling franchise.

In the cast of Mayfair Witches, you’ll find Alexandra Daddario, Harry Hamlin, Tongayi Chirisa, and Alyssa Jirrels, who are likely to reprise their roles in season three. This series belongs to AMC’s Immortal Universe, which includes Interview with the Vampire and the upcoming Anne Rice’s The Talamasca: The Secret Order.
