Okay, so I was at Sabrina Carpenter’s concert in New York the other night, and it was amazing! But the coolest part? Anne Hathaway was there! Sabrina spotted her in the crowd, and the whole place just erupted. Seriously, it was a total highlight of the show – such a fun, unexpected moment!
During her performance, Carpenter playfully teased Anne Hathaway, pretending not to recognize her and jokingly asking, “What’s your name? Sorry, I don’t think I know you!” When she realized who she was talking to, Carpenter laughed and said, “You’re Anne! Wow!” The audience loved the lighthearted exchange and burst into laughter.
Inspired by Anne Hathaway’s role in The Princess Diaries, Carpenter playfully asked if anyone had ever told Hathaway she looked like a princess. She then jokingly pulled out toy handcuffs and pretended to arrest Hathaway for being the world’s first princess. Hathaway laughed and went along with the bit, as Carpenter “arrested” her for “crimes related to being royalty.”

Concertgoers recorded the funny exchange on their phones, and videos of it quickly became popular on TikTok, Instagram, and X, sharing the lighthearted moment with a much wider audience.
Following the fun skit, Carpenter seamlessly transitioned into her song, “Juno,” maintaining the energetic atmosphere and demonstrating her polished stage presence.
