In a segment where contestants attempt to identify popular songs, Paak showed a smile when the presenter played Mariah Carey’s classic hit, “Always Be My Baby,” as reported by People.
Later, he opened his coat to reveal a T-shirt bearing Carey’s image, indicating they were collaborating on her upcoming album. He commented, “I recall from around fifth grade, obsessing over her music videos and having a massive crush. We’re currently working together on songs for her new album.
The news emerged a few weeks ago following their public outing at a café in March, where they were spotted leaving hand-in-hand. Additionally, they attended the iHeartRadio Music Awards as a duo. Carey, aged 56, received the Icon Award that night with Paak present.
