Story Details
Paul Black plays Doug, who films weddings, and Paul Rudd plays Griff, an actor who usually works as an extra. These two friends have always dreamed of recreating their favorite movie, *Anaconda*, and finally decide to do it. But their fun project in the Amazon rainforest quickly becomes dangerous when they encounter a massive, real snake. What started as a funny movie shoot soon turns into a desperate struggle to survive.

Tom Gormican directed and co-wrote the film alongside Kevin Etten. Gormican previously directed *The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent* and helped write *Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F*. Brad Fuller, Andrew Form, Kevin Etten, and Gormican produced the film, with Samson Mücke as executive producer.

Don’t expect a rehash of the classic Jennifer Lopez thriller! This new *Anaconda* film is a funny, scary adventure starring Black and Rudd, who use the setting of the original movie to explore a midlife crisis.
