Okay, so I was watching Gen V Season 2, Episode 4, and there’s this scene that really stuck with me. The villain, Dean Cipher, is running a training exercise, and he brings out this goat – seriously, a goat named “Elon”! He then tells Marie, who can control blood, to use her powers on it. It gets really disturbing because he levitates the poor thing, and then… it just violently explodes, and they show it being dismembered on camera. It was a pretty shocking moment, honestly. Definitely a tough watch.
When Marie initially asks Cipher about the goat’s fate – “what if I kill, Elon?” – he replies with, “That’s why we name them a-holes.”

Elon Musk Named in Disturbing Scene
A user on X (formerly Twitter) expressed concern about a scene in the Amazon Prime series Gen V. They wrote: “Why is Amazon Prime showing content that encourages violence against Elon Musk? In Season 2, Episode 4, there’s a troubling moment where the antagonist, Dean Cipher, has the character Marie practice her abilities with blood on a goat named ‘Elon Musk.’ The scene culminates in the goat exploding.”
The user explained further: “The violence in Gen V and The Boys isn’t the main concern. The problem is specifically naming the goat ‘Elon Musk.’ This means Amazon Prime is intentionally using the name of a very well-known person in a disturbing way – linking him to animal abuse, ridicule, and graphic content.”
Musk Responds
Musk saw the post and playfully responded, “That’s okay, I jokingly destroyed a little hotdog representing Jeff Bezos, so I think we’re good.”
That’s fine, I blew up a small hotdog called Jeff Bezos, so I guess we’re even

Eric Kripke’s Political Agenda
It’s worth noting that Eric Kripke, the creator and showrunner of The Boys, and also a writer and producer on Gen V, has always been open about his political views.
He has publicly stated that Homelander represents a similar figure to Donald Trump, and that the show doesn’t hide its political views. It actively highlights what it sees as the unreasonable aspects of right-wing ideology and political stances.
Kripke also had a major meltdown when Trump won the election.
He’s also acknowledged that the show wasn’t initially designed to reflect actual political events, but given the current environment, he believes the similarities naturally emerged.
Now that agenda has extended into Gen V.
