Amanda Bynes, known for her roles on Nickelodeon, recently shared that she’s lost almost 30 pounds. She posted a paparazzi photo on Instagram, pointing out how much her appearance has changed in just a few months.
The actress, 39, revealed to her Instagram followers on December 22nd that she’s lost 28 pounds with the help of Ozempic, dropping from 180 to 152 pounds. She explained she doesn’t usually like paparazzi photos, but this one felt inspiring, even though she acknowledges she still feels bigger than she’d like.

Amanda Bynes first talked about using the weight loss drug Ozempic in early 2025. She later posted a video online explaining her plans, saying she currently weighed 173 pounds and hoped to get down to 130 pounds to improve her appearance in photos taken by the paparazzi.
Throughout 2025, Amanda Bynes has been experimenting with her look and getting some cosmetic procedures. In August, she shared that she’d gotten lip fillers, and the month before, she revealed a new set of grillz. She explained she opted for grillz because tooth gems wouldn’t adhere to her teeth due to her veneers, saying, “Since I have veneers, tooth gems won’t stick, so this is how I’m doing them.”
Amanda Bynes has been in the public eye for many years, and has faced increased attention since a DUI arrest in 2012. Recently, in November 2023, she publicly addressed false rumors about her former Nickelodeon boss, Dan Schneider, urging her fans not to believe them and stating she’d reached out to social media companies for help.
The actress appears pleased with how she’s changed recently and is happily showing her fans what her life is like now.
