February 2026 brought big news for television, with networks and streaming services finalizing their plans for the future. Several popular shows – including talk shows, reality competitions, teen dramas, and financial thrillers – were renewed for additional seasons. What was especially noteworthy this month was that many shows were given the go-ahead before their first episodes even aired, demonstrating a lot of confidence from the networks in their upcoming programming. Here’s a list of the series that have been officially renewed.
‘Animal Control’ (2023–)

This funny workplace show stars Joel McHale as Frank Shaw, a sarcastic animal control officer. It follows the team at Northwest Seattle Animal Control as they handle tricky animals and even trickier people. Fox announced it would be back for a fifth season on February 26, 2026, meaning fans will get to see the cast deal with the craziness of working for the local government for even longer.
‘Industry’ (2020–2026)

The creators of the financial drama ‘Industry,’ Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, have confirmed a fifth and final season. HBO announced the renewal shortly before the fourth season concluded on February 25, 2026. The show follows young, driven graduates navigating the competitive world of international finance in London, and has been praised by critics for its realistic and intense depiction of corporate life and personal drive.
‘Robin Hood’ (2025–)

MGM+’s new series features Jack Patten as the famous outlaw, offering a fresh take on the Robin Hood story – a hero who robs from the wealthy to help those in need. The show was renewed for a second season on February 24, 2026, giving the creators the chance to expand on their original interpretation of the Sherwood Forest legend.
‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’ (2022–)

Jennifer Hudson’s talk show has been renewed for a fifth season, ensuring it will continue to air on daytime television. Warner Bros. Discovery confirmed the renewal on February 19, 2026. The show features interviews with celebrities, musical acts, and inspiring stories, and continues to be a reliable hit in the busy world of daytime TV.
‘Off Campus’ (2026–)

This romance series, inspired by Elle Kennedy’s bestselling books, follows the drama and lives of a college ice hockey team. Prime Video quickly showed its confidence in the show by renewing it for a second season on February 12, 2026 – several months before the first season even premiered in May. The series combines the excitement of sports with relatable stories about young athletes growing up and finding their way.
‘Running Wild With Bear Grylls’ (2014–)

The popular survival show hosted by Bear Grylls is moving to Fox for its ninth season. Fox announced the renewal on February 9, 2026, and new episodes will begin airing this spring. The show, which first aired on NBC in 2014, challenges celebrities to survive in tough conditions around the world, focusing on their ability to adapt and demonstrate resilience.
‘The Floor’ (2024–)

As a huge game show fan, I’m really excited to hear that Rob Lowe is back hosting this awesome show! It’s a really clever concept where players battle it out on this giant LED floor, answering trivia to take over territory. And get this – Fox has already renewed it for two more seasons, seasons six and seven! That’s fantastic news and shows just how well it’s doing for them – it’s clearly a hit in their reality TV lineup. The goal is to conquer the whole floor with your trivia skills and win big, and I can’t wait to see more of it!
‘Dark Winds’ (2022–)

Dark Winds is a suspenseful 1970s thriller centered around Navajo Tribal Police officers Joe Leaphorn and Bernadette Manuelito. Starring Zahn McClarnon, the series is an AMC production based on the popular Leaphorn & Chee books. A fifth season of eight episodes has been confirmed, with a premiere date set for 2027. The renewal came shortly before the fourth season began airing.
‘Finding Her Edge’ (2026–)

Netflix has renewed its young adult drama about the high-stakes world of competitive figure skating for a second season. The show centers on a skater who pretends to be in a relationship with her partner to boost their chances of winning. The renewal was announced on February 3, 2026, soon after the show first premiered. ‘Finding Her Edge’ looks at the challenges athletes face while also exploring what it’s like to be a teenager.
‘A Man on the Inside’ (2024–)

I’m really excited to hear that ‘Mr. Mayor’ is coming back for a third season! Ted Danson is fantastic as a retired guy who decides to become a private investigator – it’s such a clever premise. The show is hilarious, and I especially love the setting in a retirement community. Netflix announced the renewal on February 3rd, 2026, which is great news. It’s also awesome to see Ted Danson and Mike Schur working together again – they clearly have a knack for creating really funny shows, having already teamed up on some other sitcoms I’ve enjoyed.
‘St. Denis Medical’ (2024–)

‘St. Denis Medical’ is a funny, documentary-style sitcom about the hardworking but stressed-out staff at a hospital in Oregon. It’s been renewed by NBC for a third season – thanks to consistently good ratings – and realistically portrays the challenges and rewards of working in healthcare. The show focuses on the lives of the doctors and nurses as they navigate both their jobs and personal struggles.
‘Happy’s Place’ (2024–)

Reba McEntire stars in this comedy series about a woman who takes over her father’s restaurant and unexpectedly gains a new business partner. NBC has confirmed the show will return for a third season on February 2, 2026. The series blends family life with the humor of running a local business, and the renewal means viewers will see more stories about Reba’s character and her family.
‘Your Friends & Neighbors’ (2025–)

I’m so excited about the third season of this show! It stars Jon Hamm as a guy who used to be a big shot on Wall Street, but after losing his job, he starts doing some really unexpected things. Apple TV+ clearly loves it too – they ordered another season way back in February 2026, months before anyone even saw season two! What I really love is how it makes you think about what people will do to keep up appearances and maintain their lifestyle when everything is on the line. It’s seriously gripping, and Jon Hamm is absolutely fantastic in it.
Please share which of these show renewals you are most excited about in the comments.
