Whether you’re in the mood for a grand pirate tale or a truly different horror experience, this week’s releases have something for everyone. Here’s a look at what’s premiering this week in these genres.

‘Undertone’ (2026)

Evy, who hosts a well-known podcast about the paranormal, starts to question everything she believes when she returns home to care for her mother, who is ill. Her co-host, Justin, sends her strange audio recordings of a couple haunted by frightening sounds. As Evy listens, she realizes the noises in the recordings eerily mirror things happening in her own life. ‘Undertone’ creates a tense atmosphere through its innovative sound design and keeps most characters hidden from view, focusing on Evy and her mother. This suspenseful sci-fi horror film will be released in theaters on March 13 by A24.

‘Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die’ (2026)

A man from the future appears in present-day Los Angeles with a critical task: stopping an AI from causing the end of the world. He tries to convince a diverse group of people – including teachers, an Uber driver, and a mom – to join his fight. This unlikely team must work together to defeat the dangerous technology and save humanity. Directed by Gore Verbinski, this sci-fi comedy mixes thrilling time travel with a thought-provoking look at our dependence on technology. After playing in theaters, ‘Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die’ will be available to stream digitally starting March 10th.

‘One Piece’ (2023)

Monkey D. Luffy and his pirate crew, the Straw Hats, begin their dangerous journey across the Grand Line, hoping to find the ultimate treasure. This live-action series, based on Eiichiro Oda’s manga, takes viewers to exciting new locations like Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, and Drum Island. Along the way, they’ll encounter powerful enemies, including the criminal organization Baroque Works, and gain a new crew member: a unique reindeer doctor named Tony Tony Chopper. Season two of ‘One Piece’ will deliver even more action-packed fights and strange islands as the crew explores the unpredictable seas. The complete season premieres on Netflix March 10th.

‘Rooster Fighter’ (2026)

Keiji isn’t your average rooster – he’s a super-strong mutant hero with a mighty battle cry! He travels around protecting people from gigantic, skyscraper-sized monsters called Demons. Fueled by a desire to avenge his sister, Keiji uses explosive action and martial arts skills to defeat these strange creatures. ‘Rooster Fighter,’ based on Shu Sakuratani’s manga, is a funny and action-packed anime that combines intense monster battles with parody.
