Late March is packed with exciting new science fiction and fantasy shows and movies on streaming services. You’ll find everything from stories reimagining history and adapting comics to thrilling tales of time travel and shadowy mysteries. Both returning favorites with new seasons and completely original films and series are arriving, offering viewers a diverse range of adventures filled with superpowers, futuristic technology, and mind-bending twists.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ (2025)

I’m so excited for the new season of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’! It’s still the gritty, superhero crime drama I love, but it’s definitely connected to the bigger Marvel world with all the cool tech and science we’ve come to expect. Season two kicks off on Disney+ on March 24th, and it looks like Matt Murdock is really going up against Wilson Fisk this time, trying to get everyday people to fight back against Fisk’s corrupt operation. Seeing Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio back in their roles is amazing, and it’s going to be thrilling to see them navigate the dangers of New York City. I can’t wait to see how this season builds on everything happening in the current wave of Marvel TV shows.
‘Detective Hole’ (2026)

On March 26th, Netflix will release ‘Detective Hole,’ a gripping new series based on Jo Nesbø’s popular Harry Hole novels. The nine-episode thriller follows the brilliant but troubled detective, played by Tobias Santelmann, as he investigates a brutal serial killer in Oslo. As Harry gets closer to the truth, he clashes with a corrupt coworker and navigates a complex web of conspiracies and moral gray areas where the line between justice and revenge becomes blurred.
‘For All Mankind’ (2019)

The fifth season of Apple TV+’s ‘For All Mankind’ premieres on March 27th. The show imagines a world where the space race continued, offering a believable look at how technology would develop. As humans venture further into the solar system, the story delves into the powerful effects of striving for space exploration. This season brings new international tensions and even more ambitious scientific ideas. Viewers will see how the drive to lead in space changes life on Earth and beyond.
‘Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice’ (2026)

“Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice” is a funny action movie with a time-travel element set in the world of criminals. It’s currently getting good reviews, with a 76% ‘Fresh’ rating from critics, and will be available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ starting March 27th. The film centers on two gangsters and the woman they’re both in love with as they try to make it through a dangerous and unpredictable night. The situation gets even more complicated when a future version of one of the characters travels back in time to stop a deadly error. The movie stars Vince Vaughn, James Marsden, and Eiza González, combining classic gangster themes with science fiction.
