As a huge movie fan, I’m already getting excited about February 2026! It looks like we’re in for a real treat with a ton of action hitting both cinemas and streaming services. We’re talking everything from big, epic monster fights in franchises we already love to really intense heist movies with some seriously famous faces. Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV+ – everyone’s bringing their A-game with a mix of fun animated comedies and sweeping historical adventures at sea. Basically, it’s shaping up to be a fantastic month for anyone who loves a good dose of action!
‘War Machine’ (2026)

Scheduled for release on February 6, 2026, this sci-fi action movie, directed by Patrick Hughes, centers around a team of highly skilled Army Ranger recruits. During their final training, they come under attack by a strange alien enemy. Starring Alan Ritchson, Dennis Quaid, and Jai Courtney, the film is packed with intense combat and focuses on military tactics. It examines how these rangers fight to survive against an opponent unlike any they’ve faced before, and shows them quickly moving from training exercises to a desperate battle for the future of humankind.
‘Crime 101’ (2026)

I’m so excited for this new movie! Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo are leading the cast in what looks like a really intense action thriller coming out February 13, 2026. It’s based on a story by Don Winslow about an incredible jewel thief pulling off elaborate heists all over Los Angeles, and a determined investigator trying to stop him. The cast is amazing – Halle Berry, Barry Keoghan, and Monica Barbaro are all in it! From what I’ve heard, it’s going to be a really clever cat-and-mouse game, and it sounds like things aren’t always what they seem. They’re promising a lot of fast-paced action and realistic, gritty scenes of modern-day heists, which I can’t wait to see!
‘Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die’ (2026)

Starring Sam Rockwell and Haley Lu Richardson, the action-adventure film ‘Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die’ hits theaters on February 13, 2026. The story centers around a time traveler who gathers a group of ordinary people at a diner, tasking them with saving the world from an impending disaster. With Michael Peña and Zazie Beetz also starring, the film combines exciting sci-fi ideas with fast-paced action, and is directed by Gore Verbinski. It explores how this mismatched team works together when the stakes are incredibly high and time is running out.
‘GOAT’ (2026)

Scheduled for release on February 13, 2026, ‘GOAT’ is a funny and action-packed animated movie starring Caleb McLaughlin, Gabrielle Union, and David Harbour. The film takes place in a world where animals compete in sports, and it tells the story of a determined goat trying to become a champion in a fast-paced game called roarball. Despite being smaller and facing tough opponents, the goat must push through challenges to prove he has what it takes. With voice work also from Stephen Curry, ‘GOAT’ blends classic sports stories with exciting animation, focusing on themes of hard work and achieving greatness in a fantastical world.
‘The Bluff’ (2026)

Priyanka Chopra Jonas leads the cast of ‘The Bluff,’ a new action film coming to Prime Video on February 25, 2026. The movie is set in the 1800s Caribbean and follows a woman who used to be a pirate. She’s trying to protect her family when people from her past come seeking revenge. Forced to return to her old ways, she uses her fighting skills and intelligence to survive. Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Córdova, and Temuera Morrison also star in this intense and dramatic story of survival at sea.
‘Monarch: Legacy of Monsters’ (2023–)

The second season of this action-packed MonsterVerse series arrives on Apple TV+ on February 27, 2026. Picking up where the first season left off, the show continues to examine how giant creatures like Godzilla and Kong affect the world and its people. Expect to see even bigger monsters, leading to epic battles and widespread destruction. The series will still follow the human characters as they uncover the mysteries of the Monarch organization and the Hollow Earth, with the story’s overall mythology expanding alongside more frequent titan encounters.
‘Salvador’ (2026–)

In February 2026, Netflix will release a new international action series focused on the dangerous world of organized crime and the police who fight it. Set during a time of political turmoil, the show features intense conflicts between different groups, all vying for power. ‘Salvador’ aims to be a gripping and realistic thriller, emphasizing suspense and the constant struggle for survival, and is expected to be a major addition to Netflix’s lineup of action-packed dramas.
