Hulu has a great lineup for November, including spooky thrillers, feel-good holiday movies, and familiar favorites. We’ve put together a guide so you can easily plan what to watch. You’ll find a quick summary of each show or movie, who stars in it, and when it becomes available, including everything arriving on November 1st.

‘The International’ (2009)

I just finished watching this slick thriller, and let me tell you, it’s a ride. It follows an Interpol agent who joins forces with a New York prosecutor to take down a seriously corrupt bank – we’re talking money laundering and arming dangerous people all over the world. Director Tom Tykwer really knows how to build suspense, shooting on location in places like Milan and, of course, New York City. The story unravels a web of shady shell companies, questionable defense contracts, and even hitmen, culminating in a fantastic shootout scene at a well-known museum. If you’re looking for something to watch this weekend, it drops on Hulu this Saturday, November 1st – definitely worth checking out.
‘The Family Stone’ (2005)

Okay, so I’m really excited about this one! It’s a holiday movie starring Diane Keaton, Sarah Jessica Parker, and a ton of other great actors – Dermot Mulroney, Luke Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Claire Danes, and Craig T. Nelson, to name a few. The story centers around a woman who’s going to her boyfriend’s family home for the holidays, and things get a little complicated because he’s thinking about proposing. It looks like it’s got all the classic holiday movie ingredients: family drama, old traditions, sibling stuff, and a whole lot of festive chaos. It will be available to stream on Hulu starting Saturday, November 1st.
‘The Juror’ (1996)

Okay, so I just finished watching this thriller, and it’s a real nail-biter. It centers around a sculptor who gets pulled into a nightmare when she’s selected for jury duty – and a shady character known as ‘The Teacher’ strong-arms her into manipulating the jury to get the verdict he wants, all while she’s desperately trying to protect her child. It’s based on a novel by George Dawes Green, and Demi Moore and Alec Baldwin both deliver solid performances. ‘Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas’ (2011)

Oh no! Sid accidentally broke one of my favorite decorations, and he’s really worried Santa will put him on the naughty list! It’s a really cute story about the whole herd going all the way to the North Pole to try and fix things. The special is about twenty-six minutes long and it’s great to hear familiar voices from the Ice Age movies again. It originally aired on Fox, and you can find it on DVD and digitally.
