‘Bugonia’ (2025)

The film will debut in select theaters on Friday, October 24th, with more theaters adding it the following week, courtesy of Focus Features. The plot centers around two men who kidnap a CEO, convinced he’s an alien planning to destroy the planet. It’s rated R and has a runtime of 1 hour and 58 minutes. Before its release in the U.S., the film was shown at the Venice Film Festival.
‘Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake’ (2023– )

The second season of the series premieres on Max on Thursday, October 23rd. New episodes will be released weekly, with the tenth and final episode available on December 25th. The season follows the adventures of Fionna, Cake the Cat, and Simon Petrikov, all set within the world of ‘Adventure Time’. Episodes will only be available to stream on Max for those with subscriptions in participating countries. Warner Bros. Discovery announced this release schedule.
‘Afterburn’ (2025)

The movie starts streaming on Tuesday, October 21st. It’s set in a future where a solar flare has destroyed all technology, and follows a former soldier who now hunts for treasure. He’s on a dangerous mission in Europe. Rated R and running 1 hour and 45 minutes, the film blends action, adventure, comedy, and science fiction. It had a brief run in theaters before becoming available for home viewing.
‘Intruder’ (2025)

The new film begins streaming on Friday, October 24th, on platforms like Tubi and Fandango at Home, and will also be available through cable video-on-demand. The story follows a female fighter and her father as they’re unexpectedly joined on a stolen spaceship by a hidden passenger who damages the life support system. It runs for approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes, and is distributed by Buffalo 8. Christian Jude Grillo wrote and directed the film, and details about its release were shared in a recent announcement and trailer.
