In the update 3.3 of Honkai: Star Rail, players can now delve into a fresh, expansive location called The Eye of Twilight – a colossal floating city that serves as Aquila, the Sky Titan’s fortress. Similar to other maps on Amphoreus, this sub-region features more instances of the Golden Scapegoat puzzle. Additionally, Okhema and Dawncloud have received new layouts in this update, brimming with treasures and brain-teasing puzzles.

The rules stay consistent: Direct the goat toward the burning altar without it getting tricked by its own reflected actions, as they appear to be mirrored – this is a mini-game rich in symbolism, considering Amphoreus’ recurring pattern that we’ve come to understand.

Golden Scapegoats in Eye of Twilight – Fortress of Dome

Golden Scapegoat #1

Location:

Solution: Right, Right, Right, Right, Left, Left, Up, Left

Immediately proceed towards the starting point, move forward to reach the second floor, then continue moving forward to descend another level. This will provide sufficient space for navigating back up to the button, concluding the recorded actions on it. Navigate to the tower positioned on the left side; from there, jump down onto the pyre while your shadow keeps the gate open.

Location:

Solution: Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Right, Right

As a gamer, I’d say: Start at the game’s launchpad, veer left to the second sub-level, then keep moving right. Descend to the fourth tier on my last jump, ensuring my shadow catches up and triggers the button as it lands behind me.

Golden Scapegoat #1

Location:

Solution: Left, Left, Up, Right, Left, Left

Moved forward towards the steps, ascended them, took a step diagonally to the right just before spinning around, and leaped off the ledge onto the yellow button beneath. Raised head and moved in an upward direction towards security, avoiding the approaching shadow.

Solution: Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Left, Left

To keep track of your shadow’s movements on the upper level, and then always move one step forward after it appears – that way you can direct it to the lower floors, and make it through the trapdoors as they open.

Golden Scapegoats in Okhema – Fallen Twilight City

Golden Scapegoat #1

Location:

Solution: Right, Down, Right, Right, Up, Left, Left

Go straight ahead to the first staircase on your right, which is near the starting point, and descend. Then, leap to the ground level and move towards the small tower located above the yellow button on this floor. From there, drop onto it and proceed to the blue button. This action will cause your shadow to press the blue button, giving you access to the pyre.

Location:

Solution: Left, Right, Down, Up, Down, Right, Right

Initially move to the left following the start, aiming for the second floor balcony, and afterward proceed right towards the stairs that lead down. After ascending once more, return to the descent point, then make your way to the yellow button located nearby. This action will position your shadow in the desired spot, paving the way for you to reach the pyre.

Location:

Solution: Left, Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Right, Right

1. Initially, proceed three steps to your left from the starting point. Then, move back to the right side where the two yellow buttons reside.

2. Ensure that you maintain pressure on these buttons as soon as your shadow begins its movement. The objective here is for it to descend at the location of the blue buttons, which will subsequently open a path towards the pyre.

Golden Scapegoats in Dawncloud – Lightless Chapel

Golden Scapegoat #1

Location:

Solution: Right, Left, Right, Left, Left, Down, Right

Alternate a few times between the starting point and the trapdoor located on the right side, then deviate to the left and descend the stairs towards the yellow button. After arriving at the button, take one step to your right and immediately step onto it again so you can lower the shadow that will subsequently reach the blue button.

Solution: Right, Right, Right, Right, Left

Instead, make your way directly to the yellow button, move past it by a step, and then spin around to reach it. After that, ascend to dodge your own shadow and leap into the bonfire for good measure.

Golden Scapegoat #3

Solution: Left, Down, Right, Right, Right, Left

1. Go downstairs and leap through the gaping hatch. Miss the blue switch by a step, return, and stay put until your silhouette maintains pressure on the switch to reach the bonfire.

2. Descend the steps and hurdle over the hanging trapdoor. Skip past the red lever by one step, retreat, and remain stationary while your reflection holds the lever down so you can access the pyre.

3. Take the stairs and vault through the open skylight. Bypass the green button by a rung, retrace your steps, and stand still until your projection keeps the button depressed to reach the fire pit.

4. Traverse the steps and soar over the yawning manhole. Evade the purple switch by a step, reverse course, and stay put as your reflection sustains pressure on the switch to gain access to the blaze.

5. Make your way down the staircase and clear the open ceiling hatch. Neglect the orange lever by a step, retrace your path, and wait for your shadow to press the lever down so you can reach the flame.

6. Step down the stairs and leap through the exposed trapdoor. Bypass the purple button by one step, retreat, and stand still while your reflection maintains pressure on the button to reach the pyre.

7. Move down the steps and jump over the uncovered ceiling hatch. Ignore the red switch by a step, return, and stay put as your reflection keeps the switch depressed to gain access to the fire.
