All Horror & Sci-Fi Movies and Shows You Can Stream This Week at Home or Watch in Theaters, Including ‘WondLa’

If you’re like me and love a good scare or a thrilling story, this week has a lot to offer! I’m excited to check out the new serial killer thriller hitting theaters, and I’m a little sad but ready for the final season of that supernatural show I’ve been following. There’s also a big, visually stunning dinosaur movie, the last part of a cool animated series, and a really creepy home invasion story coming to streaming. Perfect for when I’m done with all the holiday food!

‘Stone Creek Killer’ (2025)

Directed by Robert Enriquez, this thriller follows a small-town police chief as he investigates a series of disturbing murders that shake up his community. The film stars Clayne Crawford, Lyndon Smith, Andrew J. West, and Adam Hicks, and is written by Clint Elliott. It’s a realistic, investigative story that doesn’t shy away from intense and frightening moments as the police get closer to catching the killer. It will be released in select theaters on November 28, 2025.

‘Stranger Things’ (2016–2025)

The final season of the show arrives on Netflix in three parts, starting November 26, 2025, with new episodes also released on December 25th and 31st. Created by the Duffer Brothers, who also serve as showrunners, this season brings back the original cast – including Winona Ryder, David Harbour, and Millie Bobby Brown – and introduces new faces like Linda Hamilton. Set in the fall of 1987, the story follows the Hawkins group as they prepare for a final battle with Vecna. Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen are also involved in the production, and Netflix has recently shared details about the cast and release schedule.

‘Prehistoric Planet’ (2022– )

On November 26, 2025, Apple TV+ will release the latest series, ‘Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age.’ This time, instead of dinosaurs, the show focuses on the massive creatures that lived during the Ice Age, like woolly mammoths and saber-toothed cats. Jon Favreau and Mike Gunton are executive producers, and the series is created by BBC Studios’ Natural History Unit. Tom Hiddleston narrates, while Hans Zimmer, Anže Rozman, and Kara Talve composed the music. Visual effects are by Framestore. The series brings these Ice Age giants to life with realistic, movie-quality visuals based on the latest scientific research.

‘WondLa’ (2024–2025)

The last season of the animated series, a sci-fi/fantasy adventure, will be available on Apple TV+ starting November 26, 2025. The show, inspired by Tony DiTerlizzi’s ‘The Search for WondLa,’ centers on Eva, a teenager raised by a robot, and her exploration of the alien planet Orbona alongside her friends Otto and Rovender. The voice cast features Jeanine Mason, Teri Hatcher, Brad Garrett, Gary Anthony Williams, Chiké Okonkwo, D.C. Douglas, and Alan Tudyk. Apple has confirmed this final season will have six episodes and will bring back the show’s familiar characters.

‘Murk’ (2025)

This chilling psychological thriller follows Jacob as his world falls apart when his wife, Maja, is hospitalized with severe depression. He’s left to care for their young son while strange and disturbing things begin to happen. The series starts streaming on November 28, 2025, on digital platforms like Amazon and Verizon Fios. It’s a slow-building, unsettling story about a family in crisis. Keep an eye on the trailer and release information to find out exactly where you can watch it.
