Ahsoka Season 2: THIS Game Of Thrones Star Is Set To Replace Late Ray Stevenson; Can You Guess?

In the affection of space opera enthusiasts, Ahsoka has found a home. Lately, its latest season has been evolving. Notably, one well-loved actor from Game of Thrones, Rory McCann, known for playing The Hound, is now set to become part of the Star Wars universe.

According to a report from The Insider, Ray Stevenson‘s role as Baylan Skoll in the second season of Ahsoka will be taken over by McCann. If you’re a devoted fan of the series who has been closely following it, you might recognize that this character was initially portrayed by Ray Stevenson previously.

Regrettably, the role was given to Rory McCann following Ray Stevenson’s passing in May 2023.

In the series, Baylan Skoll is a converted mercenary, previously a Jedi. He plays a significant role as one of the main adversaries during season 1.

Previously, it was established that Baylan Skoll collaborated with Morgan Elsbeth and the Nightsisters in a joint endeavor aimed at locating Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Currently, there’s no news about the director or the start date for the project, according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter.

It’s likely that production for a new season could begin as early as April this year. Previously, after the passing of Stevenson, the showrunner of Ahsoka mentioned that discussions about the character’s future were ongoing.
