‘Ahsoka’ Season 2 Could Bring Back Obi-Wan Kenobi, According to Latest Rumor

Progress is being made on the second season of “Ahsoka,” notably with Rory McCann stepping into the role previously held by Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll. The first installment ended with some significant plot twists, such as the reappearance of Grand Admiral Thrawn and his presence on Dathomir alongside the Great Mothers.

In the interim, Ezra Bridger was back with Hera Syndulla, while Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren found themselves stuck on Peridea. Towards the end of the final episode, a spectral presence of Anakin Skywalker, through the Force, hinted at further developments.

As per Kristian Harloff, Hayden Christensen is expected to have a significant part in the forthcoming season. Additionally, Ariana Greenblatt will be back, reprising her role as young Ahsoka. What’s more intriguing is the possibility of Ewan McGregor returning as Obi-Wan Kenobi!

Dave Filoni is penning the upcoming season, suggesting a revisit of significant scenes from “The Clone Wars,” potentially featuring the Mortis Gods. This approach appears ideal for connecting new viewers who might be unfamiliar with animated series such as “The Clone Wars” and “Star Wars Rebels.

At the debut of “Skeleton Crew”, Filoni revealed that he’s immersed in the writing stage and eagerly awaits fan reactions to the upcoming story arcs. He also commended Rosario Dawson for her portrayal of Ahsoka, expressing his enthusiasm to carry on collaborating with her.

At Star Wars Celebration in Japan this coming April, we’ll be receiving fresh information about both “Ahsoka” and “The Mandalorian”. For a deeper understanding, take a look at Harloff’s discussion starting from the 2 hours, 5 minutes, and 25 seconds mark in his video.
