BritBox recently unveiled the trailer and additional details for their upcoming miniseries titled “Agatha Christie’s Towards Zero“. This intriguing series will kick off as a special three-day broadcast, commencing on April 16th, followed by new episodes being released on both April 17th and April 18th.
This show features Anjelica Huston and Matthew Rhys as its main characters, boasting a robust supporting cast comprising Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Ella Lily Hyland, Mimi Keene, Anjana Vasan, and Clarke Peters.
1936 serves as the backdrop for our tale, which unfolds at Gull’s Point, a coastal estate belonging to Lady Tressilian (Huston). The atmosphere is tense when tennis champion Nevile Strange (Jackson-Cohen) and his former spouse Audrey (Hyland) choose to spend their summer vacation there, despite the presence of Nevile’s current wife Kay (Keene).
As summer progresses, a vibrant assortment of individuals, such as a valet, an outcast relative, a legal advisor, and a cunning French imposter, find themselves entwined in a complex tale. Amidst the turmoil, a murder takes place, forcing detective Rhys to untangle a mesh of envy and dishonesty to crack the case before more lives are lost.
