‘Agatha All Along’ Star Joe Locke Reveals He Hasn’t Met Elizabeth Olsen Yet: “He also said he wasn’t playing Billy”

As a seasoned gamer and comic book enthusiast with a penchant for unraveling intricate storylines, I find myself utterly captivated by the enigma that is Joe Locke and his connection to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The revelation of his character’s true identity as Billy Kaplan, Wiccan, was a bombshell that sent shockwaves through the fandom, leaving us all guessing who he might meet next – his on-screen mother, Elizabeth Olsen, aka Scarlet Witch.

In last week’s episode of Agatha All Along, we discovered that Joe Locke’s character, “The Teen,” was none other than Billy Kaplan. It’s revealed that he is actually the reborn version of Billy Maximoff, who goes by Wiccan in the comics—the offspring of Scarlet Witch.

Ever since it came out that his character is gay in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), fans have been eagerly wondering about his connection to the character. This curiosity intensifies due to the scarcity of gay characters who share such a powerful bond with Scarlet Witch.

Afterward, more and more hints continued to surface, including his emblem, his enigmatic early life, and the premature leak of Marvel merchandise which exposed not only his identity but also Rio Vidal’s true persona, several weeks prior to the revelation.

Since the cat’s out of the bag, Locke recently chatted with Entertainment Weekly and revealed an intriguing tidbit – he hasn’t had a chance to meet his on-screen mother, Elizabeth Olsen, who is well-known for her role as Wanda Maximoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Many spectators find it difficult to accept, given that Locke is known for his deceptive nature when it comes to his part and related particulars in the production. Prior to the show’s debut, the actor gave strong hints about portraying Wiccan, yet subsequently refuted these claims.

“You know, the hex was the easy part. But the lying? Not so much.”

If he would’ve just said nothing, I’d be more inclined to believe him.

Fans suspect that Locke may not be honest due to the possibility that admitting they had even a fleeting encounter with Elizabeth Olsen during her filming of ‘Agatha All Along’ would be admitted, regardless of its brevity.

There’s been a lot of chatter about whether the Scarlet Witch will appear in the upcoming series, but the showrunner, Jac Schaeffer, has hinted otherwise, suggesting that this is primarily Agatha’s story and she shouldn’t be outshone by anyone else.

Even if Locke is deceiving fans, it might be done with good intent, since revealing a meeting with her could possibly ruin an important surprise appearance.
