As a long-time Marvel enthusiast who has witnessed the evolution of the MCU since its inception, I can’t help but feel a surge of anticipation when it comes to the potential Young Avengers project. Jac Schaeffer’s enthusiasm for the team and their characters is palpable, and her recognition of the stellar cast that would bring these heroes to life is truly music to my ears.
After Billy Maximoff made his first appearance in the MCU, ‘Agatha All Along’ creator Jac Schaeffer discussed the upcoming series finale and possibilities of the Young Avengers being introduced in some capacity.
After getting acquainted with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Schaeffer acknowledged she doesn’t currently have a set strategy for managing the Young Avengers. Nevertheless, she expressed her deep-seated fondness for the group, stating: “I’m quite the fan of this team.
As a gaming enthusiast, let me express my feelings about this: I’ve got nothing specific for now, but boy, do I adore those characters! And if we’re talking about the actors, well, they’re simply amazing. If the Young Avengers ever made an appearance, it would be an absolute dream come true. That lineup would be something extraordinary!

Although Schaeffer doesn’t seem to have a plan for the Young Avengers right now, it’s entirely possible that she could come up with one in the future.
Judging from her remarks, it seems she might be interested in delving into the Young Avengers characters should the chance arise – particularly since there’s a lot of buzz about Wiccan’s introduction; this could potentially mean the team will make an appearance more quickly than later on.
The only “Wanda-related” project confirmed thus far is Vision Quest, which is set to begin filming next year and is expected to release in 2026. This will be the third installment in the trilogy following WandaVision and Agatha All Along.
Furthermore, there are whispers that Wanda will play a pivotal part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, featuring prominently in her own movie, as well as a series with a stronger focus on character development. Additionally, she is expected to make appearances in “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars”.
Though the Young Avengers team hasn’t been formally announced yet, it seems evident that Marvel is preparing the stage for these characters – Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop, America Chavez, Scott’s daughter, Billy (and potentially Tommy too) – to unite and join forces in the coming days!
In the movie “The Marvels,” all we’ve received as a significant clue so far was when Ms. Marvel paid a visit to Kate Bishop at the end. But who knows, perhaps we might get another hint in next week’s finale of “Agatha All Along”!
