As a seasoned gamer and Marvel enthusiast with over two decades of fandom under my belt, I must say that the latest turn of events in ‘Agatha All Along’ has left me utterly stunned. The demise of Sharon Hart, played by Debra Jo Rupp, was an emotional blow that sent shockwaves through the Marvel community, myself included.
In the latest installment of ‘Agatha All Along’, some surprising instances and emotional departures were unveiled, leaving fans heartbroken over the loss of a cherished character.
In this installment, it became clear that Agatha probably offered up her child to gain control over the Darkhold, it was confirmed that Mephisto is integrated within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and there’s a strong possibility that Agatha is aware of Witchteen’s real persona but has opted to conceal it due to valid motives.
In a deeply emotional scene, the Marvel Cinematic Universe temporarily says goodbye (at least for now) to Debra Jo Rupp’s character, Sharon Hart. Sharon made her debut in ‘WandaVision,’ ending the series by marrying Vision’s superior.
In ‘Agatha All Along,’ Sharon is initially portrayed as a widow who’s been feeling rather solitary, leading her to accept Agatha’s invitation to join her coven, not realizing that she, Sharon, is actually the Green Witch Agatha has been searching for all along.
At first, Sharon thinks she’s in for an enjoyable evening with friends, but when she discovers that the Witches Road is actually genuine and filled with supernatural elements, fear takes over, causing her to deviate from the path.
In the thrilling opening of this adventure, I find myself perilously close to being swallowed by some ominous magical quicksand. But as the first challenge begins, my heart races with anticipation for the fun that lies ahead. Unfortunately, little did we know, the wine we sipped in that grand manor was laced with Alewife’s Revenge – a vicious concoction that leaves you delusional, hallucinating, paralyzed, and eventually claims your life.
Initially, Sharon is the unfortunate one who’s exposed to the poison, causing her face to balloon and leading to a rapid loss of consciousness. For the rest of the episode, she appears to be in a pseudo-coma as the rest of the coven grapple with creating an antidote. This process takes place while they each experience hallucinations related to their past experiences.
Jennifer Kale manages to create the antidote, yet it’s only administered to Sharon when she’s already unconscious, giving supporters reason to believe she might pull through.
Following the initial court case that takes place in a house which starts flooding, the coven has no choice but to flee via an oven. Remarkably, Sharon manages to be moved through it, and fortunately, the entire group safely reaches the Witches’ Pathway again.
Agatha praises their good luck, highlighting the fact that everyone survived, but just as she says this, Teen interrupts with “Not everyone.” The scene then unfolds to reveal Mrs. Hart, who is quite dead and rigor mortis has set in.
After the episode was aired, the hashtag #Sharon started becoming popular on X, as viewers expressed their sorrow over the early departure of this character.

She just wanted to be included 😭

I didn’t anticipate her character to perish so early, given we’ve only watched three episodes. However, it seems logical to write off the coven member without powers since we know Rio is the true earth witch. If she reappears in episode 4, it will fit well with the narrative.

BRING HER BACK 😭

She seemed to crave the sense of belonging one last time, a glass of wine, and being with her husband – all of which The Road granted her. To me, it feels like she was actually Rio in disguise, and now that she’s back on Earth, we might see Rio resurface again.

I like the idea that the things she wanted more than anything were to feel included one last time, have some wine and then be with her husband and the Road gave her all of those.
I still feel she’s Rio in disguise and now that she’s ‘returned to the Earth’, Rio will reemerge.

The coven appears to be missing its green witch once more, however, it appears that Mrs. Hart’s role might be filled by Rio Vidal, who has been confirmed as a green witch in the series. This could account for why promos showed Rio on Witches Road, despite her absence during the ritual.
