‘Agatha All Along’ Confirms MCU Existence of One of Marvel’s Most Iconic All-Female Teams

As a long-time Marvel fan and avid gamer, I must say that the latest episode of Agatha All Along has taken my breath away! The intricate blend of magic, music, and mystery has kept me hooked since the very first note.

The fourth installment of Agatha All Along subjected our band of witches to a genuine test by ordeal by fire. Previously, Jennifer Kale demonstrated her expertise in potion-making to clear the trial; however, the most recent episode places the coven’s determination to the test as Alice encounters an ancient family curse.

In this episode filled with musical motifs, we learned about Alice’s mother’s destiny and past, as well as Rio Vidal’s return to the coven in a permanent role. Furthermore, it was established that the popular comic book group, the Daughters of Liberty, is indeed part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

During the trial, Locke’s character, “The Teen,” sustained severe injuries that put his life in danger. However, Jennifer miraculously saved him with her remarkable healing skills. As he recuperated, the witches began to narrate tales about their own scars.

Agatha shared an intriguing story behind her old elbow scar, tracing its origin to an incident where she was wounded by a knitting needle. This hints at a possible link to the Daughters of Liberty.

The Daughters of Liberty can be traced back to the American colonies, where they learned combat magic from Agatha Harkness and science from the Dryad. Their mission has always been to protect freedom and provide wise guidance for mankind. Notable figures in their ranks have included Harriet Tubman. In the mid-20th century, Peggy Carter became a member under the tutelage of Alexa Volkoff.

Initially, Carter aimed to safeguard the Super-Soldier Serum from misuse, a task that eventually led her to develop romantic feelings for Captain America. Over time, she transformed into the Dryad. In contemporary times, the Daughters unanimously took action to exonerate Captain America when he was falsely charged with murder by Thaddeus Ross.

It’s particularly intriguing to bring up the Daughters of Liberty, given the buzz that’s been around for quite some time now about a project centered on this team, which was being worked on before the SAG-AFTRA strike.

It’s uncertain whether the Daughters will make an appearance in live-action, but it’s comforting to know they were part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s past.
