As a long-time gamer and avid MCU fan, I’ve watched with both excitement and disappointment as the latest developments surrounding Jonathan Majors and the Kang role unfolded. It’s no secret that Majors was once tipped to be the next big villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but recent events have taken a turn for the worse.
Have you thought about this: Jonathan Majors, the rising actor who was slated to portray Kang in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and become the next major antagonist akin to Thanos, finds himself in legal trouble. He was recently found guilty of physically harming his former partner, Grace Jabbari. The consequence is a 52-week mandated attendance at an in-person domestic violence rehabilitation program. As a result, Majors has been dismissed from multiple roles and projects, effectively halting his career progression.
1) Although there are whispers of a return for him in some circles, it’s clear that the character of Kang will no longer be played by him.
Instead of “Namely, while the role of Kang was rumored to be replaced with a new actor, one name that frequently surfaced was John Boyega’s. The Star Wars actor was urged by a fan on the internet to take on the role but declined, leaving MCU fans puzzled,” you could also say:
In summary, actor Jonathan Majors portrayed Kang the Conqueror in multiple MCU productions, set to continue his role as the antagonist in Secret Wars. However, following a domestic abuse incident and subsequent conviction, Majors was dismissed from the part. Reports then suggested that Marvel Studios were considering other actors for the role, one of them being John Boyega. Given Boyega’s age and potential to excel in the role, fans urged him to reach out to Marvel about taking on this opportunity.

He’s not interested 😂

Based on my experience as a long-time fan of both cinema and the acting industry, I can’t help but feel a pang of disappointment when I hear that an actor, such as Boyega in this case, has turned down a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). As an avid moviegoer, I had been eagerly anticipating his addition to the MCU, especially given his impressive acting skills and charisma.
However, it was unfortunate to discover that certain MCU fans found this situation difficult to grasp. It served as an unpleasant wake-up call for them, revealing that the world’s focus is not solely on them or the MCU.
1. It’s both clever and not, given that I wouldn’t refuse Marvel Cinematic Universe money because, well, that’s a significant amount of income indeed. Let’s say we maximize the potential from it.

MCU is not what it was. I wouldn’t do it if I was him.

1. He’s taking on a more significant responsibility… I had assumed that was his goal… or is he still in tears over not becoming a Jedi?
