Paramount+ is keeping viewers engaged with a wide range of shows, including police and medical dramas, classic comedies, and its original series. This week’s numbers show people are especially enjoying long-running animated shows and the intense dramas created by Taylor Sheridan. The service is also boosted by popular content from CBS and Nickelodeon, which continues to attract viewers alongside newer releases. These rankings give a good picture of what people are watching on the platform right now.
‘The King of Queens’ (1998–2007)

‘The King of Queens’ is a funny sitcom about Doug Heffernan, a delivery driver in Queens, New York, and his wife, Carrie. Things get chaotic when Carrie’s quirky and often difficult father, Arthur, moves in with them. The show hilariously portrays the everyday challenges of a working-class couple as they balance family, friends, and life. It aired on CBS for nine seasons and continues to be a favorite for those looking for a lighthearted laugh.
‘Mayor of Kingstown’ (2021–)

This series, set in a made-up town in Michigan, explores how the prison system drives the local economy. The McLusky family holds the power, acting as a go-between for the police, prisoners, and criminal groups. Starring Jeremy Renner, the show looks at issues like corruption, unfairness, and the challenges of keeping things under control when the law isn’t always followed. ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ is one of the many dramas created by Taylor Sheridan for the streaming service.
‘Criminal Minds’ (2005–)

As a huge crime drama fan, I’ve always been fascinated by ‘Criminal Minds’. It follows the FBI’s team of profilers – these incredibly smart people who basically get inside the heads of the worst criminals. They don’t just chase down clues; they study these guys, trying to figure out what makes them tick and predict their next move. It’s a pretty dark show, leaning heavily into the psychology of it all, and how they use forensic science to crack really tough cases. I was thrilled when they brought it back as ‘Criminal Minds: Evolution’ – it was great to see some familiar faces continuing the story.
‘Tulsa King’ (2022–)

Sylvester Stallone plays Dwight Manfredi, nicknamed ‘The General,’ a Mafia boss who gets out of prison after 25 years and is sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma. He’s told to start a new criminal operation in a place he doesn’t know, so he puts together a team of local helpers. The show combines the world of organized crime with the humor of someone trying to adjust to a very different, modern world. ‘Tulsa King’ has been popular with viewers, and the streaming service has already ordered more seasons.
‘School Spirits’ (2023–)

‘School Spirits’ is a teen drama with a supernatural twist. It follows Maddie, a high school student who unexpectedly finds herself as a ghost, stuck at her school after her death. While trying to figure out what happened to her, she meets other spirits who also died on campus. Maddie has to deal with the complicated relationships of both the living and the ghostly students as she searches for answers. The show is based on a graphic novel by Maria Nguyen and has quickly become popular thanks to its original storyline.
‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ (1999–)

‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ is a beloved animated series about a cheerful sponge who lives in a pineapple underwater. Along with his friends Patrick and Sandy, SpongeBob works at the Krusty Krab and always seems to get into wacky adventures. The show is famous for its silly and unusual humor, and it’s become a hugely popular franchise. It continues to be a favorite on Nickelodeon and a top choice for kids watching the channel.
‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ (1996–2005)

‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ is a sitcom inspired by the comedy of Ray Romano. It centers on Ray Barone, a sportswriter in Long Island, whose everyday life is constantly disrupted by his overbearing parents and brother, who live nearby and often visit without warning. The show humorously explores the relatable challenges and funny moments found in marriage and family life. Over its nine seasons, ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ received widespread praise and numerous awards for its clever writing and strong performances.
‘NCIS’ (2003–)

NCIS started as a spin-off of the show ‘JAG’ and centers around a team of special agents who investigate crimes related to the Navy and Marine Corps. For many years, the team was led by Leroy Jethro Gibbs. The show covers a wide range of cases, from murder to spying, and is known for its compelling characters, use of forensic science, and the friendly interactions between team members. For over twenty years, NCIS has remained one of television’s most popular dramas.
‘Landman’ (2024–)

‘Landman’ is a new drama set in the booming oil fields of West Texas. Starring Billy Bob Thornton, the series follows a fixer who deals with the conflicts between a powerful oil company and the local community. It offers a raw and realistic look at the modern oil rush, its economic consequences, and the lives of the workers involved, and is the newest show from the creator of ‘Yellowstone’ focusing on the industries that power the American South.
‘South Park’ (1997–)

South Park, created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, is a popular animated comedy known for its outrageous humor and clever take on current events. The show centers around four boys growing up in South Park, Colorado, and their often-absurd adventures. Because it’s made quickly, the show can often comment on news and happenings almost as they occur, making it stand out as a unique cultural voice. It remains a big attraction for its streaming platform, especially with exclusive movies and special episodes.
