Adele Announces ‘Incredibly Long’ Break After Las Vegas Residency; Saddened Fans Say They Will ‘Miss Her’

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for celebrity trends, I must say that Adele’s decision to take yet another extended break from the spotlight is not surprising, given her history of prolonged hiatuses between albums. However, it’s always a bittersweet moment when one of our beloved artists decides to step away, especially someone as captivating and talented as Adele.

Adele is preparing for a vacation styled by herself, which she plans to take shortly. However, she’s giving her fans a heads up in advance about it.

Adele, who is currently 36 years old and known for singing Skyfall, announced to her Munich concert attendees that following the conclusion of her Las Vegas residency in November, she plans to take a very extended break from the limelight.

A clip shared on X (previously Twitter) features Adele speaking to her audience, mentioning she has 10 upcoming shows, but after that, she won’t be around for a very long time. Fans poured into the comment section of the video, expressing their sadness and acknowledging they’ll miss her. They understood that Adele often takes extended breaks between projects.

For those who may not know, Adele took a six-year hiatus between her last two albums, 25 and 30.

Adele will wrap up the last leg of her “Weekends with Adele” residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, from October 25th until November 30th. Initially, these shows were planned for March, but Adele decided to reschedule them in February to take a break for vocal recovery.

On Sunday, August 31, the artist who has won the Grammy 16 times concluded her Munich residency. This residency started on August 2 and took place at Messe München, an open-air venue, as indicated on the residency’s website. It was the first time this singer had performed in mainland Europe since the year 2016.

Previously, Adele mentioned taking a break from the spotlight when she talked to ZDF in July. She shared then that she’s not working on any new music, but instead focusing on different creative projects.

She mentioned that she currently has no intentions of creating new music whatsoever, as per the report by Variety. Instead, she’s looking forward to taking some time off, desiring a significant rest, and exploring other creative avenues momentarily.

Adele is intending to take a break from her professional life by going silent, but there’s excitement brewing in her personal life. She appears to have put an end to the speculation about her engagement to sports agent Rich Paul.

At one of her performances, the singer explained to an enthusiastic fan that she couldn’t enter into marriage with them, as she was already planning to do so.

In July 2021, the pair initially stirred up speculations about dating when they were captured attending an NBA finals match together, sitting courtside. It’s worth noting that Adele was previously married to Simon Konecki from 2018 until 2022 and they have a son named Angelo who is now 11 years old.
