Adam Scott Shares Hilarious Story About Assuring His Severance Co-stars He Wasn’t On Cocaine

During an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Adam Scott openly discussed a humorous incident involving his colleagues from the Apple TV+ series Severance. In essence, he confided that he had to persuade them he wasn’t under the influence of drugs, particularly cocaine.

During filming for the second season of the mentioned series, Scott experienced what he described as a “concussion.” Later on, the actor from Parks and Recreation revealed that he had an unrelenting nosebleed.

Scott expressed to Meyers that no matter their actions, they couldn’t manage to make his nose “cease its bleeding.” The actor then remarked, “It was appalling and aggravating, but when a performer has a nose that just won’t stop bleeding, it’s not rocket science, is it? We all know the drill – it must be cocaine, no doubt about it.

Scott admitted that he excessively joked about cocaine, aiming to assure everyone that he wasn’t associated with the substance mentioned earlier.

Regardless of all that transpired, the actor admitted, “However, by the end of the day, everyone assumed it was cocaine.” Later on, Scott disclosed that he eventually sought help at an emergency room in upstate New York, where they ended up cauterizing the inside of his “nose.

Later, a snapshot taken by Ben Stiller depicting Scott amidst the process, was displayed to the spectators by the shoe show’s presenter.

As a devoted admirer, I remember inquiring from the physician about whether the process might bring discomfort. He affirmed my suspicions, emphasizing, “Indeed, there’ll be pain, but what makes this particularly tough is the intense sensation of pepper being forcefully inserted into your nose.” (Scott’s nose, to be precise.)

The actor expressed that it indeed brought about discomfort, using an analogy of “It felt as if I had a whole pound of pepper.” Additionally, he stated that the physician repeatedly advised him to refrain from sneezing.
