The Apple TV+ show “Severance” is shattering records everywhere it goes. Notably, its main star, Adam Scott, can’t help but reflect on the moment when he was chosen to embody the lead role in a science fiction thriller series centered around human experiments and corporate culture.

On the Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend podcast, Scott shared that the term ‘comforting’ perfectly encapsulates his feelings about Severance, which is one reason he felt so anxious when the show debuted a few years back.

Later, he mentioned that upon noticing the billboards featuring his image throughout the town, and realizing this was a significant milestone he had anticipated for three decades, instead, it left him feeling uneasy.

In the podcast, Scott expressed concerns about how viewers might respond to the show following its release. Despite crafting the production in an isolated environment, everyone on set adored it. Yet, they were unsure of the reception they’d receive from the audience.
