Ostrum retired from his practice in 2023, preferring a private life outside of Hollywood.

Chris Owen

You might remember me as The Sherminator from the ‘American Pie’ movies! It’s funny, even with a few sequels under my belt, Hollywood can be tough, and I definitely had times where acting work dried up. To make ends meet, I actually worked as a waiter at a sushi place in Santa Monica for a while. I also really got into photography and started doing that professionally to bring in some extra money. I still take on the occasional acting role, but I’ve kept working in the service industry to stay busy.

You know, I always remember Barret Oliver from classics like ‘The NeverEnding Story’ and ‘Cocoon’ – he was a really talented kid actor! He’s become a real expert in old-school photography techniques, especially those from the 19th century. He’s even written a book about it and now teaches workshops. Bradley Pierce

I was so surprised to learn that Bradley Pierce, the voice of Chip from ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and the kid from ‘Jumanji,’ eventually moved away from acting! While he kept doing some voice work, he wanted something more stable, so he got into the hospitality business. Now, he’s a professional bartender and even started his own company, Pierce & Luna, where they help bars and restaurants create amazing drink menus and train their staff. It’s really cool to see how he’s used his creativity in a new way!

Now, he’s mostly stepped away from acting to concentrate on his work as an entrepreneur and someone who donates to charitable causes.

Kevin Jonas

I remember when the Jonas Brothers first hit it big – Kevin was a huge part of that, and I loved him in ‘Camp Rock’! But when the band took a break, it was so interesting to see what he did next. He really dove into tech and real estate, even starting his own construction company, Jonas Werner, and actually working as a contractor. Gary Coleman

Gary Coleman is best remembered for his role as Arnold Jackson on the TV show ‘Diff’rent Strokes.’ After the series ended, he faced difficulties with money and finding consistent work as an actor. Brian Bonsall

I remember Brian Bonsall – he was Andrew Keaton on ‘Family Ties’ and was great in ‘Blank Check’! It was surprising to learn he stepped away from acting back in 1995, wanting a more normal life.
