The search for the next James Bond is heating up, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson is currently the leading contender. While actors like Anthony Boyle, Callum Turner, and Regé-Jean Page were previously considered favorites, recent reports suggest Taylor-Johnson is close to being confirmed. However, a more than ten-year-old accusation of on-set bullying is now circulating online, potentially jeopardizing his chances. The claim, originally made by a co-star in 2012, has led to increased scrutiny of Taylor-Johnson’s character.
Rumors about Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s previous relationship with a Mexican actress are creating complications as he’s considered for the role of James Bond.
Sandra Echeverría shared a story about an incident with Taylor Kitsch and Aaron Taylor-Johnson while filming a car scene in the movie Savages. She explained that she was meant to be tied up in the trunk of a truck for a kidnapping scene, but during breaks, the actors repeatedly revved the engine, causing her to be thrown around inside and get hurt.
She explained that because her hands and feet were bound, she felt helpless and distressed when the truck’s engine was revved. This upset her and angered her father, who witnessed the event. Later, one of the actors involved apologized, but she chose not to confront them, harboring resentment towards both celebrities. At the film’s premiere, Aaron offered a separate apology, and seemed genuinely remorseful, though Taylor didn’t appear concerned. She questioned whether this incident highlighted the power dynamics within Hollywood, expressing her uncertainty about the situation.
Recently, James Gunn began following actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson on social media, leading to more speculation that Taylor-Johnson might be the next James Bond.
