‘Accept It and Move On’: Gypsy Rose Claps Back At Online Hate Lifetime’s new season of Life After Lockup

It appears that Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is tired of the criticism from people doubting the paternity of her child. In the preview for the upcoming season of her reality series, Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up, she spoke candidly on this topic.

According to Too Fab, Blanchard believed that her future husband, Ken Urker, was the father of their child. However, her ex, Ryan Anderson, decided to conduct a paternity test as it’s a legal requirement in Louisiana when unmarried couples separate and need to establish paternity.

Blanchard, who’s currently going through a divorce with her former spouse, stated in the trailer, “In Louisiana, if a child is born during marriage, the husband is assumed to be the father.” Her future spouse regretted that the divorce proceedings hadn’t been finalized before the conception.

Additionally, the former inmate discussed the prejudice she encountered upon announcing her pregnancy. She expressed, “Even on the internet, I’ve read remarks suggesting that my tubes should have been tied as a part of my parole terms.

Blanchard mentioned that the paternity test served a greater purpose for her ex-spouse, Ryan Anderson, rather than fueling animosity. Essentially, she said, “The test is primarily to inform Ryan, ‘Hey buddy, you’re not the father.’ Accept it and let’s move on.” However, according to an article by Too Fab, Anderson was previously identified as the father.

To clarify for those not in the know, Blanched and Urker announced to TMZ that they had their first child, a girl, who they named Aurora Urker on December 28, 2024.
