It’s plausible that Cillian Murphy’s character from “28 Years Later” could be a transformed Jim who was killed and became an infected zombie, adding a unique connection between the comic storyline and the film franchise. Alternatively, considering how dangerous life can be within a 28-year timeframe in this world, it’s not impossible that something else happened to Jim!
