Having followed the manga closely for years, I can confidently say that this story is one of my favorites. The anticipation has been building up for a while now, and finally, we have a concrete release date – October 8th, 2024!

At long last, fans can rejoice as their beloved manga will boast an impressive ensemble of talent. The voice actors, animation studio, and director appear to have united in a remarkable alignment, almost as if the gods of anime had heard their prayers. With the renowned Fairy Tail studio Satelight taking charge of production, and Katsumi Ono, director of Captain Tsubasa: Junior Youth arc, at the helm, it appears that this project is moving steadily towards success.

To add to the excitement, Deko Akao and Natsuki have joined the team for series composition and character designs respectively. The art direction is in the hands of Yuri Matsuda from Studio Naya, sound direction by Takahiro Fujimoto, and Yujiro Yamane as director of photography. Hiroyuki Got will lead CGI direction, Michiko Nakamura will work on 2D aspects, Yoshimi Kawakami will handle color design, Ryoko Kaneshige will edit the series, and Mitsuri Soma will take care of prop design. They also provided an updated voice cast during their announcement. Known for Keiji Akaashi from Haikyuu! and Yosuke Hirata from Classroom of the Elite, Ryota Osaka will be the voice of the protagonist, Haruaki Abe. His colleague from Classroom of the Elite, the voice of Suzune Horikita, as well as Nezuko Kamado from Demon Slayer, Akari Kito, will voice Beniko Zashiki. 

Besides these characters, fans can expect to see Akari Takano portraying Rensuke Nyudo, Chitose Morinaga as Marshmallow, Jun Fukuyama in the role of the principal, Reo Tanie as Mamekichi Maizuka, Nanako Mori as Yuri Renjo, and Ryota Suzuki as Mikoto Sano. Additionally, Ryota Iwasaki, Saku Hyuga, Shota Aoi, Shun Horie, Taito Ban, and Takao Mitsutomi will all be appearing as Izuna Hatanaka, Toya Fuji, Akira Takahashi, Rintaro Miki, and Kotaro Hijita.

Enthusiasts will be delighted to hear that Takao Mitsutomi, Tomoaki Maeno, Tomokazy Sugita, and Yuki Sakakihara are set to give voice to the characters Yakumo Mujina, Makoto Yamazaki, Yanagida, and Tamao Akisame.
