In simpler terms, it’s been revealed that Patrick Gibson will lend his voice to the character of James Bond in the forthcoming video game titled “007 First Light.” This project is a joint effort between IO Interactive and Amazon.
At the September 2025 State of Play presentation, attendees got their initial look at how Gibson portrayed a youthful, burgeoning James Bond in his early career.
The game, titled “007 First Light“, delves into the early days of James Bond’s career at MI6. As players, we find ourselves accompanying Bond during his tenure as a green but ambitious recruit. He navigates through the spy agency’s training program, demonstrating his resourcefulness, yet sometimes acting impulsively.
In the game, Gibson will be accompanied by Lennie James as Greenway, Priyanga Burford as M, Alastair Mackenzie as Q, Kiera Lester as Moneypenny, and Noémie Nakai as Ms. Roth – each of these talented actors lends depth to their respective characters.
The game is planned to debut on March 27, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch 2. You can pre-order it right now at a price of $69.99 for the standard version. Those who purchase early will be upgraded automatically to the deluxe edition.
This update offers cosmetic items along with a 24-hour early digital access. For those seeking a more luxurious experience, a premium special edition is on sale for $299.99.
