2025’s Gamescom promises to be a significant event for Microsoft, with a comprehensive unveiling of Blizzard’s World of Warcraft: Midnight and the debut of the next Call of Duty title in Cologne. In an exciting turn of events, Treyarch has confirmed that Black Ops 7 will make its grand entrance at Geoff Keighley’s live show, Opening Night Live, which takes place the night before the exhibition begins.
The exhibition will run from August 20 to August 24, 2025. The opening night live event (ONL) is scheduled for August 19 at 8 pm Central European Summer Time (CEST). For those in the United States, this corresponds to 11 am Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) on the same day and 2 pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
In the bustling exhibition hall, Call of Duty stands alongside heavyweights like Resident Evil Requiem, Arknights: Endfield, Crimson Desert, and Anno 117: Pax Romana. Earlier this year, during the Xbox Games Showcase in June, it was officially announced, with some sneak peeks earlier offering a glimpse of the exciting new game modes it will introduce.
