As a fervent admirer of both Terraria and Palworld, I’ve been thrilled since the news broke about the Terraria-inspired content coming to Palworld. And not too long ago, we learned that the upcoming major update would be brimming with Terraria-themed goodness! Now, here’s some fantastic news: Pocketpair announced today that this highly anticipated update will be released next Wednesday, June 25, 2025! I can hardly contain my excitement!

Although the specific details are still unknown, given that all promotional content showcases the Eye of Cthulhu – the initial major boss from Terraria – it’s reasonable to expect an encounter with this entity somehow. Perhaps we might even have the opportunity to domesticate it as a companion (Pal). Regardless, the Eye is merely one of many bosses in Terraria, so it’s possible that there are additional surprises hidden by Pocketpal yet to be unveiled.

This update isn’t just about crossover content; it will offer us a fresh island to discover teeming with new characters to capture, and given the trend of past updates, there’s a strong possibility that we’ll receive an extension to the tech tree, complete with exciting new elements to broaden our Pal empires.

This new development occurs merely a few months following the reported adjustment in Palworld’s gliding mechanics due to an ongoing legal dispute with Nintendo. However, there should be no such issue with any of the collaborative content that is being planned.
