General Hospital Recap, June 19 Episode: Jordan Opens Up About Curtis, Michael and Sasha Finalize Daisy’s Custody

On the June 19th episode of General Hospital, I found myself confiding in Anna about my feelings towards Curtis. At the same time, Michael and Sasha were grappling with a significant choice regarding Daisy. An unexpected proposition was extended by Drew to Kai, while it became apparent that Sidwell would face resistance from Sonny when it came to relinquishing control of his territory.

Jordan confides in Anna about Curtis

At the pool in the Metro Court, Jordan conversed with Anna and shared that she’s uncertain about how she feels regarding Curtis and Portia’s troubled marriage. She revealed that her pulse quickened when Curtis mentioned their relationship might be beyond repair. Anna, recalling her history with Robert and Holly, cautioned Jordan against exploiting someone else’s struggling marriage, a mistake Jordan believes Portia made towards her in the past.

Later on, Lulu teamed up with Anna to express gratitude for saving Charlotte and offer an apology for her previous unfriendly behavior towards Valentin. Anna felt touched when Lulu shared that Charlotte was thriving and would serve as a counselor at Lila’s Kids this summer. On the other hand, Isaiah inquired about Jordan’s job with Sidwell, to which she responded that she found it fulfilling, even though she is aware of his true identity. Isaiah also mentioned Curtis, which caused Jordan some discomfort.

Drew offers Kai a new future

At Drew’s house, Kai shared with him that while the surgery didn’t resurrect his football career, he was grateful for the opportunity Drew had provided. In response, Drew extended an invitation for a paid internship in his office, praising Kai as a born leader. Kai appeared moved by the proposal.

Trina came back home and shared with Joss the predicament Kai found himself in. They held Drew responsible for misleading him, as they felt he had given him false hope. Joss expressed his belief that Drew’s deceitful nature would eventually become apparent to others. Furthermore, they discussed Willow’s worsening mental health following the loss of her children to Michael. Both Trina and Joss suspect that Drew has angered some influential individuals, and they anticipate his fall from grace could be imminent.

Michael and Sasha finalize custody

At the Quartermaine residence, Michael and Sasha discussed a significant choice with Jason: Sasha will be Daisy’s only legal guardian, while Michael will continue to play a role in her life, albeit without any legal claims. Jason expressed his approval for this decision.

As a devoted follower, I express my concern for Willow, who’s yet to recover from her illness. Later on, Sasha stumbled upon the nursery mobile mysteriously activated. Simultaneously, on Spoon Island, Sidwell attempted to convince Sonny to part with his piers. However, Sonny firmly declined, making it clear that he would safeguard Port Charles at all costs. Moreover, it was disclosed that the judge overseeing Michael’s custody case had been secretly bribed by none other than Sidwell.
