HoYoverse reveals Cerydra for HSR 3.5

In the upcoming update for Honkai: Star Rail, version 3.5, Cerydra will join the roster as a playable character. HoYoverse has confirmed this, and she is set to be a five-star character specializing in Wind damage. Additionally, she adheres to The Harmony, which indicates that players should anticipate her to function primarily as a support-type unit.

In this tale, the chosen heir of Chrysos wields the fiery Coreflame of Talanton, the Law Titan. This individual bravely defended the sacred city of Okhema from an attack by rival urban settlements. Accompanying her during these perilous times was Hysilens, a trusted ally who stood faithfully by her side as both advisor and enforcer. In the upcoming version 3.5 of HSR, players will have the chance to control this very character.

In Okhema, Cerydra seized control after victories on the battlefield, championing the Chrysos Heirs and their Prophecy over the Council of Elders. This move earned her the labels of tyrant and oppressor, yet she was instrumental in ushering a period of affluence for Okhema – much like Aglaea served as a political forerunner for the Chrysos Heirs.

In her own words, “Cerydra” is how you should address me, though the world has bestowed many titles upon me such as ‘Flamebearer,’ ‘Tyrant,’ ‘Empress,’ ‘Supreme Commander,’ and ‘Imperator.’ She is also known as the ‘Chessmaster Monarch’ and is believed to originate from the enigmatic Northern Empire, a land where frozen territories smolder with ambitions of dominion.

Ruler Cerydra, heir to Chrysos with the power of the Coreflame ‘Law’, you are tasked to position your pieces, confront the deities, adjudicate the unfaithful, and etch the trail of Flame-Chase into the destiny of this realm. ‘This is not an ending; the path of Amphoreus will ignite across the cosmos!’ This is the revelation.

Before diving into playing as Cerydra in HSR 3.5, slated for an August 2025 release, there’s the excitement of HSR 3.4 with its Fate UBW collaboration to anticipate. The HSR 3.4 livestream on June 20, 2025, will provide further information about this collaboration.
