Has Kanye West Officially Changed His Name to Ye Ye? Here’s What We Know Amid Custody Battle With Kim Kardashian

Once more, Kanye West finds himself in the spotlight. Though recognized for his contentious remarks, he’s now addressing the mystery surrounding his recent name alteration. Previously, the hitmaker behind “Gold Digger” had been referred to as Ye West, a shortened version of his birth name.

More recently, the artist has started going by “Ye Ye” as his formal stage name, causing some confusion among his followers, who are unsure if they should refer to him as Kanye, Ye, or both.

In a statement released by the reps of Kanye West, it was confirmed that there is no Ye Ye.

What’s the truth behind Kanye West being called Ye Ye?

The report that Kanye West is now known as Ye Ye emerged following repeated references to him as such by his Chief Financial Officer, Hussain Lalani, in various official documents.

The representative for the rapper has clarified the situation. In a statement to US Weekly, they explained that there isn’t any person or project referred to as ‘Ye Ye’. It was stated that the term ‘Ye Ye’ is an unusual combination that resulted from filling out an online form where both first name and last name fields were required.

During our chat earlier, Big Boy (a father of four) explained that his name has a biblical significance, saying, “It means ‘you’ in the scriptures.

In my fervent enthusiasm, I can’t help but exclaim, “Indeed, I am they, we are one, we are united. From ‘Kanye,’ symbolizing the singularity, it transformed into just ‘Ye.’ This change mirrors our triumphs, our struggles, our puzzlement, and all that defines us.

Additionally, the rapper put out an album named “Ye” in 2018, describing it as a mirror of our true selves.

Even though the artist is now known as Ye, he continues to use his original name on his X account – a platform where he shares contentious remarks about Kim Kardashian during their ongoing custody dispute.
