As Honkai: Star Rail version 3.4 nears, HoYoverse has unveiled the initial marketing for HSR 3.5 and introduced Hysilens as a playable character. She will be a rare 5-Star addition to your roster, affiliated with The Nihility, and specializes in dealing Physical Damage.
In simpler terms, Hysilens is known as Helektra in her original homeland of Styxia. She was once the Knight Commander under Okhema, but before that, she served alongside Cerydra, the second ruler who wielded the Coreflame of Thanatos, the Law Titan. According to the game’s background story, Hysilens acted as Cerydra’s right hand and enforcer during her reign. They had previously united against invading enemies with an unknown army and eventually took control, establishing the Chrysos Heirs’ Prophecy as a binding law.
We also know that Aglaea, Tribbie, and Cipher knew Hysilens personally before she vanished.
In a bygone era, the name Helektra faded away… Indeed, it’s you, the small, gray one. Address me as Hysilens – I am the Commander of the sacred city, and I will stand guard – I shall not allow the tempests of destiny to blur your vision. (Hysilens is quoted as saying this in her introduction post.)
Styxia, a coastal city steeped in enchantment and dreams, where remnants of ancient melodies linger within the tides. Helektra, the Daughter of the Sea, Chrysos’ Heir who purifies the Ocean’s Inner-Flame, clears the murky depths and organizes a riotous celebration for heroes above the heavens — The performance must continue. Despite hope being as delicate as soap bubbles, the waves will relentlessly roll on,” describes her.
In the realm of Divergent Universe gaming, I, as a player, am all about Hysilens – a character known for her damage-over-time (DoT) approach. Fans are buzzing that she’ll breathe new life into this style and rejuvenate it, especially with the anticipated buffs coming up for Kafka. It’s going to be exciting!
In August 2025, we can expect the launch of HSR 3.5. Prior to that, a live stream of HSR 3.4 will give us insights into the previous version of the game, including its collaboration with Fate UBW and the addition of a dialog skip feature.
