Trigger warning: This article contains mentions of death and substance abuse.
In recent headlines, there are renewed discussions about the death of Matthew Perry, a star from the popular sitcom FRIENDS. As speculation grows regarding the perpetrator, one consistent detail is the California-based doctor who administered a substance to Perry that allegedly caused his passing. The medical professional involved has agreed to plead guilty, potentially bringing resolution to this ongoing case that started in October 2023, following the actor’s unexpected death.
Based on a BBC report, it has been confirmed that the doctor accused of providing ketamine to Chandler Bing’s actor, Matthew Perry, will admit to this act. Dr. Salvador Plasencia, who is one of the five individuals under investigation, plans to plead guilty to four charges related to supplying the drug to Perry.
Conspiracy to loot Matthew Perry
Back in October 2024, I found myself standing shoulder-to-shoulder with another fellow who’d been indicted – Dr. Mark Chavez. You see, we shared a secret bond, one that had been nurtured over the past two decades: our obsession with a certain star. It all started in September 2023, when he entrusted us with ketamine – little did he know that it would lead to his downfall.
In cahoots with Dr. Chavez, I found myself part of an unsavory gang, orchestrating the supply of this dangerous substance to our beloved star. Alas, there was another player in our twisted game: Jasveen Sangha, who is said to have masterminded the overdose, driven by nothing but greed for financial gain.
Matthew Perry cited reasons such as using ketamine for depression management and quitting smoking, which led to his use of the drug. However, when he started asking for larger quantities, a group exploited this situation, attempting to extort money. A total of twenty 5ml vials of ketamine were sold to Matthew Perry and his assistant, who was also taught how to administer it.
In his relentless pursuit of additional income, Matthew Perry tragically lost his life due to drowning in the hot tub at his residence in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Dr. Salvador Plasencia faces a potential maximum prison term of 40 years.
