Apple has unveiled the teaser for the third season of Foundation, set to premiere on Friday, July 11th, exclusively on Apple TV+. This science fiction series, inspired by Isaac Asimov’s writings, features Jared Harris, Lee Pace, and Lou Llobell in leading roles. The storyline continues 152 years after the incidents from Season 2.
Currently thriving far beyond its initial beginnings, the Foundation encounters a fresh, cosmic danger. Simultaneously, the Empire, with the Cleonic Dynasty losing its grip, is compelled to forge an uncertain partnership with its adversary. The main instigator of this conflict is a burgeoning warlord named “The Mule,” who wields both military might and mind control in his quest to disrupt the galactic power equilibrium.
New Cast Members Join the Series
Joining the main cast are actors such as Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Lou Llobell, Cherry Jones, Brandon P. Bell, Synnøve Karlsen, Cody Fern, Tómas Lemarquis, Alexander Siddig, Troy Kotsur, and Pilou Asbæk.
Returning cast includes Laura Birn, Cassian Bilton, Terrence Mann, and Rowena King.
Release Schedule and Production Team
In simple terms, the third season comprises ten individual episodes. The first episode will be available from July 11, and a fresh one will follow each week on Fridays until September 12 concludes the run.
