For instance, there was a five-year gap between ‘Alien’ and ‘Aliens,’ fourteen years between ‘The Incredibles,’ seven years between the first two ‘Terminators,’ thirteen years between ‘Avatars,’ thirty-six years between ‘Top Guns,’ and six years between ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2’ and ‘Vol 3.’
In another statement, the head of DC expressed that Matt Reeves is committed to delivering an exceptional movie. “Typically, it takes about two years from finalizing the script to production, filming, and post-production for major films,” Gunn continued.
As for Superman, the David Corenswet starrer will release in theaters on July 11.
